$5.79 pint can, TWF. I have got to find cheaper areas to buy beer. Hazy orange with an offwhite head. Incredible retention. Pineapple, orange peel nose. Melon, bread crust, orange peel, light pineapple. One of these hop flavors I don't like... I have to figure that out. Anyway, that's a minor part of this beer... good.

$5.79 pint can TWF. jeez, you know, these beers for at home are getting quite expensive. Hazy gold with a large off-white head. Lemon zest, sweat, resin, light pine nose. Peach skin, pine, resiny, citrus peel, some tropical notes. Uh... not exactly west coast, but I guess leaning there.

Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, fast-dying pure white head that stays on the sides, just a tad. Aroma of light pears, apples, some subdued soap and hop notes with a light wheatie and malt bite with a dash of hay and flowers near the end, but quite crisp and dry. Light to Medium-bodied; Very dry and light malts show at first without any bitterness or pungency that are biscuity, slightly yeastie and go down quite easily with a light citrus aspect, some subdued flowers with a nice level of sweetness on the end that balances out the distinct dryness here. Aftertaste is relatively mild with some malt and lighter hops (without much alpha acids here) and a kick of the pure orange and lemon flavours at the end. Overall, a nice, crisp, easy-going and exceptionally easy-drinking kolsch without even a lager yeast pungency or astringency - this is mild and soft, which is quite nice, especially for the style! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Union Market in Arlington (Ballston), Virginia on 26-September-2021 for US$4,00, canned on 25-May-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-April-2022.

Draft pour at Solace Outpost, Falls Church. Poured a dark, but not too dark brown color with small off-white head. Aroma was sweet malt notes. Pleasant, big nutty notes. Pleasant toasted pecans. Tasty.

Draft pour at Settle Down Easy. Poured a ruby red color, light purple hue. Small off-white head. Aroma was pleasant, mild berry, with some very light tartness. Flavor was big blueberry juice notes. Very light, natural fruit tartness.

Draft pour at Settle Down Easy. Poured slightly hazy, dark orange color with a small white head. Aroma was pleasant sweet citrus peel, light cranberry. Pleasant citrus fruit, big Belgian yeast notes, some light bitter cranberry.

Draft pour at Settle Down Easy. Poured a clear medium-dark brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light nutty malts, light sweetness, but not overly sweet. Pleasant light toasted notes.

Draft pour at Settle Down Easy. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. This is a Thin Mint cookie. It smells like a Girl Scout cookie. It even tastes like one. While it's like a cookie, it's actually not overly sweet, which is a good choice. Good stuff!
