Picked this up at Overdraft in Winchester and was initially told it wasn't for sale, as it was a sample that had been dropped off. The bar staff then relented and said I could just have it and quickly handed it over as their manager was heading towards the bar. Aroma mixes dark chocolate, malts and tart but juicy berries. Dark and glossy. Cola brown in the light. Beige head soon retreats to the rim. Tangy berries are my first impression. Followed by sweeter berries. A bitter edge. More coffee than chocolate. Bur the flavour is also not particularly powerful there's an almost watered-down element to it. Light-medium bodied. Slick if a tad watery. Long dry astringent finish. Nice but lacks oomph.
