Description

500ml can shared by djoeye. Bubbly pale yellow body. Tiny white layer. Poor lacing. Grass on the nose with a sweaty touch. Taste of wheat and yellow apples. Watered fruity ending. Mid-sweet. has got little to offer (Tromsø 05.12.2014).

Bottle @ City Arms, Manchester. Almost water coloured, but not quite. The pear aroma and taste are good, is sweet and very palatable with a crispness.

Smells of dog piss. Taste isn’t much better. Horrible brew that you don’t even wish your worst enemy a sip of.

Had this so many times over the years, don’t ask me to explain why.Tried from can and tried from bottle.Fizzy clear light inside of pear colored, no head really but smoe fizzy white a little while. Smell and taste of sweet artificial pear and a lot of sugar. Fizzy mouthfeel. Sweet cloying finish. If you’re a cider drinker the way I see it, you will not go for this, at least not more than once. This is not cider/perry to me, it is more of an alco-pop very sweetened up alcohol soft drink. I can see why the "kids" go for this stuff, when they’re out to get drunk on something that taste like the stuff they’re used to from McDonalds or whatever.Nope, not for me, go for real, brewed, perry/cider instead of this stuff, please. In conclusion it is sweet, then more sweet, and pretty artificial.

Bottle at Manchester pub just chasing the style tick. Pours like ginger ale. Nose is green apple jolly rancher. Tastes of bananas, green apple, canned pear juice, and straight up packet of sweet and low. Cloying palate.

50cl bottle @ Salusand havsbad, near Umeå. Pale golden, thin white head. Grainy, slightly sweet aroma, some corn. Flavor has malt, sweetness, starch and corn. Not very pleasant. Very watery. Ok to rinse down the hamburger I had.

Canned (from S-Market Maalahti). Pale yellow colour with a small white quickly vanishing head. Aroma is sugary and sweet pear with some mild tropical fruitiness as well. Flavour is sweet pear, quite sugary and all this in a rather artificial way.
