Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a foamy/creamy white head. Guava aroma, but are they pink? Or green? Med body. Guava fruity, but dry. Not pink gs. Not green gs. Still, it's definitely guava. Well, maybe ping gs. This is hoppy and bitter. The malt is present, but takes an effort to notice. Liking this a lot.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma tends to dankish, but pale fruits rather than pine. Med body. Foamy carbonation. Dank it is. Now I get the pine. Lots. Astringent. Malt is very lightly toasted. Still think some pale fruits, but mostly pine. Dry. More than moderately bitter. Gets a little earthiness with time. Yet mostly pine. More pine than many IPAs. Great ale.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy white head. Aroma has pale stone fruit. Med body. Flavor is dry and bitter - but there's a fruit component that keeps it from being harsh. But it's definitely bitter enough to satisfy. Malt support is hardly roasted at all. This is arguably a crisp and clean APA. Definitely flavorful. If it's sessionable, it is one of the tastiest session ales I've had in a long time.

Can from The Davis Food Co-op. Pours brassy gold with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is quite piney. Med body at least. Flavor is quite piney with detectable caramel support. So there's sugar, but it is very dry. Very hoppy. Very bitter. Very old school. Very good.
