Bottle picked up at Fountainhall Wines. It pours cloudy brown with a thick, dense beige head. The aroma is rich and herbal, earthy, varnished wood, spice, nutmeg, dried fruits, sutanas, molasses and a touch of rocky road. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, earthy, fragrant, toothy, herbal, spicy, warming alcohol, wood, jaegermester, dried fruits, raisin, sultana and fruitcake with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting stuff, pretty herbal but works ok.
