Sharp, tart and a little fruity - pours a hazy pale gold, with a big frothy white head and a tart rhubarb aroma. Not overly sour, nor massively fruity, just a decent sipper with a slight puckering quality about it, and a hint of yoghurt creaminess in the mouthfeel

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit, faint floral notes, which I guess is the heather. Taste is more of the same. Didn't enjoy this as much as version 1. Thin finish.

Bottle from Beer Zoo. Clear ruby body with a thin beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, earth and Dr Pepper. Flavour of toffee, prunes and plum. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. It’s been a long time since I last tried a Drygate beer. This is very good - it’s full of warming aromas and flavours and hides the ABV well.

Slightly hazy reddish-brown beer, thick white head. Smells mulled drinks a little, with spices and some zesty fruit. Flavour has a pretty tangy citrus hit up front, spices again, malt, some hoppiness, malts and little caramel cutting through it. Sharp and but warming, this is quite interesting.

Black with a thick beige head. Nutty, chocolatey aroma. Flavour has chocolate, coffee, praline, malt. It's smooth, rich, sweet without being sickly and just a little booziness to it. The right amount. This is lovely.
