Golden beer, white head. Very dry, bitter and zesty smell. Taste is pretty strong for a session beer, good hoppy, citrusy taste to it. it's only in the body you might get the strength as it's a little thin. but it's decent and you could definitely sit happily with a few of these in the sun for the afternoon, especially if it's true to its word about the midgies!

330ml can. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a moderate head and plenty of retention and lacing. Aroma of syrupy caramel malts, pine, honey, grapefruit, stewed citrus fruits. Taste is caramel, honey and stewed fruit with a long resin type bitterness. Above average body with an oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. This is a fine beer, very nice indeed.

Black beer, thin off white head. Chocolate, caramel and slight booziness in the smell. Taste has the same qualities, with a touch of hop and maybe a little liquorice too. Doesn't taste 10%, and it's rich and very nicely balanced. Ends up quite dry in the finish.

Murky golden beer, thick white head. Strong hit of hop in the smell, with sweet zesty citrus and grassy grapefruit in the aroma. Flavour has all the same qualities, with lots of strong, bitter hop, a little sweetness coming through from the fruit and it tastes its strength so it demands a bit of respect. Even very cold it's quite powerful so very much a sipper but it's really tasty and very much my sort of thing.

Very murky beer with a thick white head. Dry, zesty slightly floral aroma. Flavour is quite dry too, with grassy hope, peach and grapefruit in there but honestly for the ABV it's not that strong a flavour. It is nice though, largely bitter and dry but quite refreshing. A pity it looks quite so murky because it tastes a lot better than it looks!

Hazy golden beer, thick white head. The lemon and raspberry really comes through in the smell. That combination makes for quite a sharp, dry flavour too though it's not overpowering. It's quite light, crisp and dry and very drinkable.
