Tap at California Craft Beer Summit 2017. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is so hpppy it suggests "oils". Med body or nearly. Flavor is earthy/fruity/citrus/wood. Quite dankish. Way stronger flavors than most sessions.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours brn/black with a beige/tan head. Med + body. Flavor has that chocolate thing so often common to ambers. Here it’s fairly strong. There’s a treacle aspect and some fruity hop. Earthy in a way. Not dry, barely bitter. Amber. Hmmm. Not my thing really.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma: resin:pine:citrus Med body; maybe more. Flavor is earthy, resin, still thinking citrus. It’s a bit off dry (roasty malt), bitter, but not super strongly so. Makes me think dank (it isn’t).
