Bottle as "Celia Birra Senza Glutine". Hazy yellow with big white head. Aroma is malt, wheat, yeast, burned plastic, phenols and fruit. Flavour is malt, wheat?, yeast, phenols, burned plastic and over carbonated.

330ml bottle under the name "Celia- Birra Senza Glutine" and marketed as an alternative for people allergic to gluten. By this time, the staff was aware that any sign of red eyes was probably not due to me being intolerant to gluten, so they tried to warn me. Also they didn’t have the glassware for this beer, so it was served in a regular glass. Poured a golden body with big foamy head. Barley, grass, hay and sunflowers. To much carbonation, but kudos for the idea of brewing something for the allergics. (18.05.13)

Draught @ GEIB, Grande Esposizione Italiane della Birra 2012, Nuova Fiera di Roma, via Portuense 1645, Rome, Italy 00100.Unclear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, moderate yeasty. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, yeasty, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121214]

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Quite much pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is mildly roasted malts, toffee, mild coffee as well as some slight fruityness. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, some mild notes of dark dryy fruits and burnt wet wood.

Bottled@OnePint Pub, Helsinki. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is rubber, pine, peach and some wheat. Not very pleasant. Flavour is rubber, wheat and some mild spices. Not very nice.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at One Pint Pub Italian weeks ’10) The beer poured black with medium sized and light brown head. I liked the aroma that had almost burnt malts, molsses and mild creaminess. Palate was medium bodied and quite fizzy so the carbonation was really high and it was a bit unpleasant. The taste had roasted malts, liquorice, mildly coffee and bitterness. The finish was quite long and cotained liquorice and roastedness. Quite nice stout but still a bit weak.
