[The idea of a brewery came from a young man who was passionate about the art of brewing. Unhappy with the lack of production of specialty beers in Cape Verde, he decided to create the country's first craft brewery. The Afreecana brewery uses native fruits and spices from Cape Verde in its recipes in order to promote the country, but it also has a production line that respects the German purity law.]

Cloudy dull gold with a frothy white head and a big mango nose. Massive carbonation, dry and tropical with a nice dollop of hoppy, resinous bitterness rounding things off

Hazy deep straw with a bubbly white head. Fabulous fruity aroma, akin to citrus but just a little funky but with a sweet edge. Soft and smooth, low carbonation, it’s soft and slightly citrusy with a yeasty vibe to it and just a touch of herbal spice in the finish
