Bought at Grumpy Goat, Reading. Spotted a brewery I didn't recognise but then failed to spot it was AF. Aroma combines instant coffee and nuts with berries. Dark. Opaque. Cola-esque. The foamy beige head suddenly vanishes. Sour coffee berries are what spring to mind. I guess there is some malty chocolate but it's not assertive. And peanut butter, maybe a whisp in there. Starts off relatively strong and the flavours then get watered down into the finish. Light. Watery. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Erm. Well, it has Porter traits but the chocolate and peanut butter are at the very best an afterthought. More like a canned cold brew coffee than anything else.
