Gravity cask at the 31st Ealing Beer Festival, Walpole Park, 15/07/22. Moderately hazed golden with a white crown (think they're bigging up haze a bit with the description!) Nose is citric tinged straw, melon, grass, soft malts. Taste comprises orange zest, melon, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. So so.

Keg at Lock & Barrel, Bromley. Aroma of rich coffee with a nutty edge. Dark and glossy. Creamy tan head. Medium bitter coffee, at first. This does follow on through but the tonka nuttiness and vanilla then appears, albeit not overpowering. Spice. Molasses. Th gingery spice is more prominent into the finish. Medium bodied. Watery creaminess. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Not always a fan of Tonka but it's well balanced here. Decent.
