Description
In 2021, the idea arose to start an "Underground" beer society. The idea was to brew three times a year and enjoy it together. It did result in the establishment of the Black Beer Society. In October 2023, the first beer was launched on the market, initially available in the Hoogeveen region.

The goal is to use at least one black ingredient in each beer during the brewing process! In addition to the usual ingredients, exotic fruits and citrus fruits are also used.

Bottle at annual Fryslân tasting. Dark brown to black visor, full sized beige / tan head. Aroma is malts, liquorice. Flavor is malts, dark malts, dusty, earthy a bit, distant liquorice. Decent body and average carbonation. Not bad.
