A pretty typical and traditional English style stout. Lots of roasted malt, giving a bit of coffee. Pretty high on the carbonation. Quite thin, unfortunately, and lacking in flavour. Some bitterness, bit of sweet. Not tasting bad, just a bit weak.

Bottle at dad's. Dark red-brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, dark malts lightly, a bit earthy and lightly dry. Flavor is malts, dark malts, lightly dusty, a light note of dried fruit, dry, sweetish dark fruit. Decent body and carbonation. Quite ok.

Flesje gedronken tijdens feest. Diep donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma en smaak van karamel donker fruit en koffie. Nasmaak heeft veel koffie.

Bottle, thanks ShivanDragon! Golden color. Hints of orange and coreander in the aroma. Malty sweet, soft spicy flvor with orange and coreander. Carbonation is soft. Pleasant brew.

33 cl. bottle @ 't Wapen in Midsland, Terschelling. Hazy yellow with as big white head. Fruity yeasty aroma with some white pepper. Taste is medium bitter with a proper dry bitter finish. Very nice slightly peppery saison.
