Bottle: Poured a golden color lager with a medium head that disappeared a tad too quickly. Aroma of malt with some very subtle sweet floral notes. Taste is quite bland with some average sweet malt and no hops that are easily distinguishable. I can’t believe that this is a pilsner – I would never had guess from drinking this below average beer.

Small, slightly irregular white head over pale, metallic-golden beer. Outspoken grainy nose, as a sac of horse fodder old style, or a particulary nasty insular breakfast item. Toasted, I suppose. Same flavour as smell, it gets a greenery hint which makes the breakfast connection even more plausible - the British one, I mean. Raw malts, greenmalts obviously. Still, it’s a shock that you adapt to. I catch myself nipping and nipping again - did it really...? Burning MF, light to medium bodied, slight grist slickness. Not going to be my favourite. It’s... original...

(can) Clear amber colour with a medium-sized, not very lasting foamy off-white head. Dusty, sweet and slightly toast-malty aroma with honey and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, smooth carbonation. Sweet malty initial taste, slightly fruity (honey), sweet malty strong and lasting finish. According to the high ABV, the alcohol is fairly well integrated, certainly present and warming, but not offensive, nor rough. The first one of its style I do really like.

Bottle. Golden beer with a white head. Light sweet malt aroma with a bit of earthy/grassy hops. Sweet malt with faint hop backing. Easy drinking. Not bad, has a decent flavor, but nothing outstanding.

Gold color. Straw aroma. Full bodied flavor of malt and hay. OK for what it is.

Light copper pour with a subtantial, but short-lived head - lots of fruity esters in the aroma, especially strawberry - highly evident alcohol in the flavor, along with some of the esters from the aroma and a light grain taste - some hops are present, but add an odd, metallic bitterness.

I taste no discernable difference between this and mass-produced imports like Becks - some flowery hops and mild sweetness - quite easy to forget.

(bottle) Pale golden colour with a small frothy white head, fast diminishing. Weak aroma of grassy hops, malts and cardboard. The taste is even worse: light taste of toasted malts with some hops in the sweet and short grainy finish, but most of all cardboard.
