Can for two fitty at vintage. Rather slightly darker than a pale lager, buts its pretty close to simply being pale. Some cloying sweetness on the nose, reminds me of some aged macro ice lagers. First taste is quite unique; initially I detect some tartness hidden in there, then I get a slight processed feel and finally I think there is some odd sweetness developing. I'm going to say this 'pilsner' is more like a pale lager or premium lager with some personality thrown in. You know, like many macro american pale lagers that call themselves pilsners? Could pass as a vienna, I guess. Overall unique lager tasting experience, not bad, but slightly below average for a pale lager.

Pour is a tan with a large white head. Aroma is a bit of carmel malt and I guess some herbal hop. Flavor is again a bit of toasted caramel malt with a hop on the back end. Kind of the wrong malt bill for a pilsner. This could almost be considered a marzen.

3$can from chalet. Nose is sweet and malt. Looks like a rootbeer with chunks of something floating around in the bottom.Nice head that fades. First taste impression is that its quite thin for a stout. Also, its not as cloying as most of those stupid ass pastry bombs. I'm really surprised, it must be one of the more tolerable pastries I've had lately. It even has a touch of smoke in there as well. Mind you, I'm not loving this stuff, its just a little more balanced compared to others in the style. Yea, in the middle, it is a little cloying but not bad and I think I'm picking up some cocoa in there. Yea, its really something seeing these chunks, of what I believe to be cookie, floating around in there. Lots on the bottom of the can, weird. On the finish, I do seem to be getting just a tad of orange in there. Not as good as Penn Brewery Sarris Peanut Butter Meltaway, Croakers Dismembered Dough Boy, Brew 32 #73 St. Nicklaus Stout or Bullseye Funk Mob Coffee Stout. Buts OK and better than the average pasty bullshit. I'd say its on par with Firestone Mocha Dolce Stout.
