Sampled on draft at this beer poured a cloudy yellow color with a large fluffy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was dry and musty with cracker and a hint of coriander. The flavor was tart with lemon, orange rind, coriander, yeast, a bit of mustiness and a hint of medicine. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a dark reddish-amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and mild hops. Medium body with a sweet caramel malt character spiked by earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
