Ein Mitbringsel einer ehemaligen Studienkollegin, deren Kollege dieses Bier braut - Danke, liebe Lissi an dieser Stelle. Man sollte es übrigens nicht Ein Bier, das den amerikanischen Garagenbräu-Gedanken mit Kärntner Bergfexigkeit verknüpft. Als ich die Flasche öffnete, habe ich mir eine Art getreidiges Wirtshausbier erwartet, aber hier setzt man auf eine gewisse Hopfigkeit. So hat es einige nette frisch-fruchtige Aromen aus amerikanischer Richtung auf netter Malzbrot-Basis, das mich etwas an würziges Bauernbrot erinnerte. Was mir gefällt, ist das Fakt, dass es in einer 0,5l-Bügelflasche kommt, welche man wiederbefüllen kann bzw. mit Pfand retournieren kann.

Bottle from a Getränkemarkt in Feldkirchen. Looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, quite turbid, small head. Dry malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest dry, shy caramel hints. Only very light hoppy background. Not much of a festbier. Should be stronger and have more hoppy character. Okay, but not more.

Bottle looks really good. Gusher! Beer in the glass brownish, huge head. Starts fine malty, light roasty notes. Mild bitter background. Well balanced finish. Quite drinkable. Good one!

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Yeasty-malty aroma. Starts malty, quite yeasty and dry. More and more moldy, notes of some cookies, some sweetness. Finish too unbalanced and yeasty. Not good. Especially for the price of 4.50 at s'Fachl Villach for a bottle.

Bottle bought in Feldkirchen. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Fine fruity hoppy aroma. Starts fine hoppy, not too dry, fine fruiy like lemon, some apricot. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced, less fruity. Not bad!
