Test vom 14.11.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,10,12,10,13,12 - 10,85

Can. Sweet corn and barley aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Slightly sour corny malt. A beach beer - not much worse than BMC.

Golden color and sweet taste. Best served very chilled on a warm day. The problem is that it doesn’t have a standard taste, sometimes it’s quite good other times not so.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden, not much head and perhaps even a bit flat. Very sweet, actually a bit sticky - probably the maize adds to this. Close to no bitterness at all. Probably works better on a hot beach in Cyprus... Thanks to Carina for bringing me this. 220405

Bottled. Yellow/golden with small head. Malty aroma with hints of caramel and maize. Mainly sweetish flavour with a bit hoppy finish. Not much aftertaste. Pretty watery beer.

In Finland this is known as "UN Beer", thanks to those thousands of Finnish UN Peacekeepers who used to station in Cyprus.
Pale yellow, average white head, vanishing quickly. Not much aroma: light sweet malt, also some metallic tones. Very watery, not much taste just some corn flavor. (3/2/2/2/4 1.3)
Re-rated, bottle (BB 09/2006)
Very pale yellow, small firm white head. Weak papery, corn-malty aroma. Crisp carbonation. Very watery, almost tasteless, only some harsh notes and sweetcorn flavors. In the aftertaste some unclean sweet malty and maize-like notes. Cyprus equivalent to Bud. (2/2/2/2/6 1.4)

Blond color. Poor cornish aroma. Simple taste, but the dry bitterness at the end is ok, for a summer beer.

Crystal clear light golden colour with a fast-dying white head. Aroma of metal and stale malt. Some light fruityness in the aroma, but very mild. Light-bodied; Mild malty taste with some offensive flavours. A bit bitter in the aftertaste, but not too much. Overall, not a good beer and it shows. Good to try if you are looking for one from Cyprus, however :-). I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

A yellow beer with an OK head. The aroma is slightly sour - as if brewing cereal has been used for it. The flavor is also slightly sour and a bit metallic - but very much like a pilsener. A boring beer.
