Description
In 1894 the Obergärige Brauerei Heinrich Reissdorf was founded by Heinrich Reissdorf in the Cologne Severins neighbourhood. In 1923 the brewery started to brew bottom-fermented beers and it became the Privat-Brauerie Heinrich Reissdorf. Through the years it stayed in the family.

In 1996, the Privat-Brauerie Heinrich Reissdorf acquired today's company premises in the industrial area of Cologne-Rodenkirchen. With the new production facility, a brewery was created, which is equipped with the latest brewery technology and meets the highest quality standards.

Pours clear blonde, Small, semi-stable white head. Smell is malty, tad sweet ( white bread) , light DMS, pure grains. No hop profile, clean fermentation profile. taste is very mildly bitter, tad creamy body, good amount of maltyness. minor metallic notes. DMS doesn't show as much in the taste. Decent

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Grainy nose, lots of fields of grain. Clean and crisp, faint sweetness. Light hops on the finish. What a Kölsch should be. Very enjoyable.
