Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Stan. Aroma is grainy, worty, grassy, floral and dusty. Pours clear dark golden color with medium sized soapy white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet grainy, caramelly and medicinal, following is grassy and chalky, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Sweet & bitter, not a glitter...

Taste starts with sweet chocolate and mild roasted malt, following is nutty, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average grassy bitter. Bottle via Tesco. Full body, lots of sweetness all around. Moderate carbonation. Lots of syrupy caramelly flavour. Just a hint of roast to keep it balanced a bit - but just a bit. Overall it stays just short of being cloying. At least no major flaws. Off-balance, but drinkable. Okay.
