Bottled 500ml. -from Tesco Zlate Piesky, Bratislava. Almost black coloured, medium sized pale beige head, mild roasty nose. Also mild roasty taste with notes of caramel and hint of coffee. Rather short sweetish finish. Nothing special here.

Another Slovak radler we got to add. Fuckin A. Anyway, poured a dull milky yellow body with a small white head. Light yeastiness mixing with real fresh lemon juice in the nose (and winning). Empty sweet taste, vaguely bready, surrounded by hints of lemon and weak tartness. Well, seems more natural than the average radler, and yet it didn’t work out that well.

Ogi’s, from Bratislava. Poured a very dark amber body, almost black. Medium sized off white head that wnet away slowly. Very light nose, mainly coffee. Creamy raisiny taste ending slightly roasty. Light carboard, very light alcohol. Dull.. erm... corn? Didn’t like it in the end for some reason despite the relatively high rating.

Canned 330ml. -from Hypernova supermarket, Bratislava. Clear amber coloured, medium sized creamy off-white head, mild malty nose. Malty, weak caramel and notes of alcohol and hint of green apple. Sugary finish. Really unpleasant surprise, expected much better one.

50cl can of Premium Svetlé Pivo bought at the World Horticultural Expo in Venlo. A typical eastern european pils - straw with a billowing white head; weak grassy hop aroma; sweet corn syrup flavour with a touch of cardboard; and lacking a finish.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short and off-white frothy head. Slightly buttery malty aroma with shades of caramel and a tinge of woody hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, a bit light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slim but still slightly buttery malt-character with present herbal and slightly woody hops; dry and moderately hop bitter finish. Nice. 02.V.12

Ogi’s, canned. Lovely clear copper body, off white head, relatively lasting. Slightly washed out malty nose. Sweaty malty taste, notes of alcohol. Almost no bitterness, some in the aftertaste. Didn’t expect it to be this bad...

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a loose mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready and nutty cara-malty aroma with ashy notes and shades of herbal hops in the background. Quite bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toasty malt-character with caramel and slightly burnt flavours; slightly slim burnt and hop bitter finish. Not directly my cup of tea. 10.IV.12
