Warning! Early amateur rating! Bottle in Bratislava. Dark lager. Light crisp start rapidly followed by a coffeeish bitter undertone. Dry finish. Very easy drinking. Nice.

Can at pizzaria at the central train station in Bratislava. Pours clear and yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and slight malty. Vague metallic, malty and slight cornish. Bitter and simple malty finish.

My sample is definitely the "Premium" bottle as in the pic. The "Marina" caption in nowhere mentioned. But instead of 4.1, the ABV is given for 5.2%! Medium dark beige head over near-black beer with ruby reflections. Dry chocolate/cacao powder aromas, dark malts, dark grains, burnt barley. Very stout-like initial flavour, soon relieved by a more sweet flavour, slightly liquorice-like. Definite roasted components - more Schwarz than Dunkel, IMO. Sweetness is not syrupy, leaving a dry-ish, softly carbonated and light-to-medium bodied beer. Not bad, pretty dry Dunkel to sweet-ending Schwarz. Many thanks to the Urselian Slovak gang!!

Small white head over deep golden beer. Mostly dry grainy, but with a surprising aroma, remindful of freshly grind coffeebeans and toast, but very volatile, only grassy aromas left behind. Dry-ish, grassy and leafy flavour; rainwater, pretty dull. Rainwater quality, if well carbonated, light body. Starts not bad, but peters out afterwards. Many thanks to Lenka, Tomăš and Peter.

Huge cream-to-brownish head, very stable over deep garnet-brown beer. Thick roasted malts smell, melanoidins à gogo, sweet, slightly woody. Sweet, liquorice-like with a burnt-metallic bittereness that doesn’t chase the syrupy sugarflavour. Chemical flavour that keeps hanging around. Quite slick, but light body. Way too sweet dull Dunkel. Many thanks to Lenka, Tomăš and Peter.

Small dense, light-yellow head; clear old-golden beer. Rather intense grains nose, popcorn, slightly toasted, hazy, with a hint at noble hops. Dry, near-hoppy initial flavour with a finish that is again grainy, but still quite dry. Some metallic bitterness lingering. Balance is quite good, sweetness nearly imperceptible, straw-like. Light body, faint grist slickness. Very good Bohemian pilsener, vying with good Franconian and ditto Czech examples. Many thanks to the Slovak Urselians!

clear golden, smooth large white head. nice slightly hoppy slightly flowery aroma with a decent malt base. dry. flavor is dry, faint cardboard, dry hops, fine pilsener, but with a few off flavors. quenching due to the low alc and high drinkabillity.
