0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured pale golden body with smaller to medium sized head. Weak grassy aroma, a bit malty in the background. Slightly bitter flavor, grassy and lemony hoppy, flowery malty. A bit thinner in body. Has fine and quite long pleasantly dry finish. Could be better, it’s quite ordinary, but it’s well made and fine enough.

0.5 l can courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured golden body with medium sized head. A bit hay, grainy and some flowery malty aroma. Flavor was grassy as well, has some fine bready bitterness, but it’s quite thin bodied and watery. Shorter, slightly bitter and watery finish. A fine beer, but there are better Czech styled pilseners out there.

0.5l bottle brought from Slovakia by a friend (thanks a lot Ivana!), shared with heavyPoured a golden body with a small thick white head that went away at a medium pace. Fresh herbal hoppy nose, Simple watery but nice taste, lemony herbal hopiness, a bit light, and that’s pretty much it. Drinkable, a bit too light and simple, one dimensional but nice.

0.5l can that a friend brought from Slovakia (thanks Ivana!), shared with heavy Small thick white head that went away relatively past. Golden colour. Grainy appley nose, a bit light, not all that nice. Empty grainy, bready taste, slightly dusty, a bit yoghurty. Too light herbal hoppiness, slightly bitter. Has some nice authentic Boh Pils notes but too dumbed down.

Sample at the Eurostash tasting on 04/30/09: Can from K. Kert 2000 Bt. in Budapest. The beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a minimal white head that fades quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Lightly spiced hops aroma. Light body with a bubbly mouthfeel and flavors of light spice and floral hops. There is an underlying faint malt as well. The finish is short and mildly bitter. Pretty basic overall.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. A pale golden beer with a small white head. Fruity nose on a base of pale malt, nothing wrong with it, except that it’s boring. The flavor is slightly more interesting, still fruity with pale malt, and with a little bitterness towards the finish. Could use a more pronounced bitterness and hop-profile. Dry in the mouth, and a bit thin. Really boring, but not bad at all, and sure quaffable. (080823)
