Bottle from Deya shop, Burton on Trent This is a common Latvian beer which I seem to have managed to avoid rating before. Has an aroma of burnt toast with nuts and malt. Pours a dark reddish copper with frothy (very) transient cream head. The taste is bready as well, with dark fruits and cherries plus some hints of nuts. A bit watery with low carbonation, but sweet underneath, and surprisingly some alcoholic strength in the finish. I don’t remember it being as nice as this previously !

Bottle from Deya Shop, Burton-on-Trent - though I have in the past drunk it many a time on tap in Latvia. Pours a pale orange with a good white head, which quickly dissipates. The nose is a standard malt / corn aroma. In the mouth there are hops and an orange fruitiness, with pretty strong carbonation. A bitter hoppy finish to round things of. Just a bog standard lager, but pleasant.
