Difficult to note the grape on the nose, buts there if you look for it. Clear pale. Somewhat stronger than expected and the grape does almost show up on the taste buds in the middle. Finishes easy with a warming sensation down the back of the throat. Not bad.

Small taster at the source. Light pink & clear. Friendly sweet boozy nose. First taste is quite yummy. Easy, nice & clean on the palate. Some mouthcoating effects, sweet and tasty with the rhubarb but never cloying. Very good.

Now this stuff is GOOD! But be warned, this is sipping stuff only. Starts of with a slight fruit perfume. Then the first taste is simply fruity mango. I don't like mango but this stuff is pretty good. Now the action starts to happen! After the fruity tongue the heat starts to build and build. Then you think its going to be too much, but then it levels off to an acceptable level. But make no mistake this stuff is beautiful and hot. Very nice and very pleasing!

Barely any cherry on the nose. First taste is strong willed in alky and its quite difficult to pick out the cherry. A little boozy in teh middle. Towards the end I think I'm picking out some cherry, deep down inside the alky.

Clear pale. Nose is a little bit of chili pepper. First taste is sweet pepper then the heat sets in. Wonderful feeling! Not too hot, just enough to pleasantly fill out the palate with warmth. Warming sensations all the way down. A very good capsicumel fer sure! I'm going to get a bottle of this fun stuff.

From a bottle at the meadery. Clear pale with a muted nose, yet I do detect some sweetness on the olfactory. First taste has a bigger alky kick than I anticipated. Lacks the mouthcoating sweetness I was anticipating. Quite dry. Seems like more than 14% stated here. Not bad overall. In the end, even with its strong personality, its quite smooth.

Clear pale from a bottle at the source. Nice friendly sweet boozy nose. Initially I find it a little stronger than I was expecting considering its a mead. Flat of course. Has a pretty good punch of a personality but yet its smooth. Not as viscous as most meads I've had from the old country.
