Can from a friend. Pours a pale yellow hazy brew. Big head foams then settles. Smell is somewhat off tart olfactory. Tea taste has a good bit of that hefe feeling, no sign of wheat ale here. Decent mellow hefe flavors. I'm liking this stuff. Not bad. Big thanks Bryan!

Black with a large creamy brown head that left good lacing. Tart blackberry, toasty malts, dough, whiskey, anise and floral hops. Very long finish. Full bodied. Outstanding.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy brown head that left great lacing. The aroma was very strong dough, m alt and floral hops. The flavor was malty, woody and roasty with anise, coffee, cocoa, dough and floral hops. Long finish of dough and anise. Moderately full bodied.

Sampled on nitro draft this beer poured a black color with a large creamy tan head that left great lacing. The aroma was burnt brewed coffee. The flavor was burnt brewed coffee. Very long finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a reddish brown color with a large creamy tan head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweetish with dark fruit, golden fruit and yeast. The flavor was sweet and tangy with caramel, dark fruit, booziness and a bit of astringency at the end. Very long finish. Full body.
