Bottle, 10.5%. Mild phenolic, yeasty aroma, acetone, better than it sounds. Hazy red/amber colour. Small stable tan head. Very sweet sugary flavour. Some teaish notes, vanilla. Rough hoppiness, clean enough, though. Seems quite green still. Should have been lagered for another few years, at least. Why so strong in alcohol? Why so sweet?

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, dextrose, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish Thanks yespr for sharing.

Hazy amber with a large beige head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and hops. Flavour had roasted malt, caramel, hops, phenol, dark fruits and pine. Finished dry and bitter.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of HenrikSoegaard. Pours golden deep orange to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is yeasty and dark malty. Light fruity. Sweet, malty and fruity flavoured. Dense malty and sweet. A bit of ageing would do it better. Lasting sweet malty and roasted finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a deep amber with a slight haze and a rough off-white head. Very intense fruity and caramellish aroma with evident alcohol. Solid body, fruit and vanilla, caramel and apple notes. Quite some bitterness in the finish and an alcohol boost. 150610

Bottle. A clear, copper beer topped by a small, beige head. Slightly sourish on the nose, with caramel and a fruity touch. Caramel, alcohol and some dried fruits in the flavor, low on bitterness. Caramel and some alcohol in the finish, a little bitterness too. Not an impressive beer at all. Still, quite drinkable. 100522

Bottle. An unclear, orange beer topped by a small, white head. Citrus peel and a touch of spices in the aroma, tropical fruits and some pale malts blending in. Thinnish and flat on the palate. Citrusy flavor with pale malts and a touch of spices. An easy drinkable beer, but nothing interesting about it. 100522

Bottle. A clear, brown beer with a rocky beige head. Malty nose with a strange raisiny and a bit unpleasant note. Dms in the back. A bit unclean in the flavor too, higher alcohols and dms blending with roasted malts and dried fruits. Lots of dms in the finish. Full-bodied. Quite dry in the finish. Overall, definately not a beer I could drink a lot of. Somehow it reminds me of when opening a packet of red meat that has been laying for a while. 100513

500ml bottle, 7.5% ABV, bought at Barley Wine in Copenhagen and shared with Finn Arvid at an Easter dinner. Red-brown or cognac-like body colour. Decent off-white head, slowly fading. Sweet caramel malts to the nose backed by a spicy touch. Fragrant malty profile in flavour joined by a noticeable touch of cinnamon, dark fruits, prunes and a little too much of candy sweetness. Masked alcohol. Medium bodied. Tasty, however, just a bit too sweet (Tromsø, 04.04.2010).
