Bottle at Chris_o birthday bash 08. Gold with thin beige head. It’s a bit like a beer. Bit of syrupy malt. Some hop on finish. A strong ale with some hop.

Bottle at Chris_o birthday bash 08. Very deep ruby/brown. Minty, but has elements of a porter. Bit meaty, some choc porter and mint. Odd.

Bottle at ÅBF08. Clear amber colour. Weak citric aroma. The flavour has some grain, not caramelly like a good Bock should be.

ÅBF08 Roasted and sweet aroma. Almost black colour, no head. The flavour starts off roasted and nice, turns more towards fruit and cardboard. Starts off well, but does not finish as well.

Draught at ÅBF08. Clear amber colour. Small white head. Rough flavour, slightly grainy. Reminds me of a standard bottled British ale.

Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A golden beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, though added a note of straw. Boring.

Bottle, from trade with papsoe. A ruby to dark brown beer, clear, with a beige head. Burnt, coffee aroma with some bonfire and dark chocolate. The flavor is also mostly burnt malt and coffee, but there’s also some salty licorice and a touch of dark, bitter chocolate. Burnt, coffeeish finish too. A bit thin on the palate, and quite dry. Sure on of the best Viborg beers. (080412)
