Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden body with an off-white head. Not overly pleasant aroma with caramel, cooked vegetables and some fruityness. Thin body with flavors of malt, caramel and a large bowl of cooked vegetables and some fruits. Sure, it’s drinkable, but I can’t imagine anyone finishing a whole bottle. Avoid! (080508)

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus and malt. The flavor has citrusy and flowery notes of hops as well as a light note of malt, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Myrup for sharing.

Dark golden with a lasting white head. Light malty aroma of bread and grain, with marcipan and alkohol. Sweet and malty flavour with little bitterness, the sweetness is balanced mostly by the rather elegant alcohol.

Black with a light brown semi-lasting head. First aroma is of candy licorice, then comes a smoked note and a little fruit, chocolate and peat/medicine. Sweetish and slightly sour dark malt flavour with distinct peat. Alcohol and sweetness in a strange finish. But if you like Islay whisky, this is a must-try beer.

Bottle. A clear, golden body with a small, off-white head. DMS, fruityness, maltyness, sweetness and some strange fruit in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and rather hoppy, with some notes of DMS, failing to leave me with a content feeling. Medium to full body. Drinkable, but not too good. Far from bad though. And a bit strange. Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Fruity, citrusy and piney nose that’s quite weak, but pleasant. Slightly sweet flavor, especially for a pilsener, with caramel, nice hoppy fruityness, pine, citrus and bitterness. Medium body. The finish is mostly fruity and sweet, and lacks bitterness. A quite pleasant pilsner, but I would like some more bitternes. (080112)
