Bottle 330ml.Unclear matt medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, spicy, coriander, yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120515]

bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Cloudy amber colour, large and foamy off-white head. Spicy aroma. Malty base with some sweetness, lots of yeast and spicy herbs, hints of sage for example. The list of ingredients lacks hops - is it just brewed with herbs? Unusual but nice.

Bottle from Quack-Duck, dekuji. Hazy brown color with large creamy white head. Cinnamon, clove, yeast, apples in aroma. Taste, caramel malt, cinnamon, clove, liquorice, raisins with light bitterness in background. Dry, aromatic, bitter finish. Oncle Hansi knows, how to brew good Christmas beer.
