At Riverdale Orchard & Cidery, we’re dedicated to crafting artisanal hard ciders that celebrate the humble-yet-mighty apple.
In the longstanding tradition of the UK-style ciders from our home country of Scotland, we do not add anything to our ciders – no sulfites, yeasts, hops, grains, water, flavourings, or juice concentrates.
The result is pure fermented apple bliss in a bottle, ready for you to savour.
On tap at Stillwell Freehouse. Pours a clear golden blonde on the nose. A lot of chlorine and apple skins on the nose. Flavour has tart apples, some skins; finishes tart and moderately dry. Something about this is off; the tartness is strong but the apple character is weak. Not a huge fan.
Looks like cider. The taste is fairly dry apples, and the funk is a bit of a mix of dirty sock, and some light aserbic notes. The balance is dead on. This how to do cider. Bottle from Notables PEI Liquor in Charlottetown.
