Bottle. Pours with a hazed bronze-deep orange body and a lasting off-white head. Aromas of raisins, caramel, alcohol, tons of malt, metal, rum cake, an orange/curacao reduction. Flavors of sweet and bitter, burnt flan, orange peel, toffee, raw wheat, really bitter. Some over baked and glazed desserts. Lively bubbles. Decently dry, but with lingering burnt caramel flavors.

On tap at the Oldsmar Tap House pouring up with a gold body and assertive light tan head that you could float a dime on. The aroma is bubbly churning wort hopped up with a load of Chinook and Cascade like hops. Just like boiling wort except for the boiling part. The taste at first seems like bitter beer wort, which I enjoy. It has an initial undercurrent of malts, then graininess and then hoppy wort-ness. It then quickly picks up a strong surge of chewy spicy hops rimmed with bitter grapefruit to lemon citrus hops all the while supported by a tenuously thin layer of sweet malty grainy wortiness.

Draught at Fette Sau. Hazy red brown colour. Mild and very round caramel malt flavour. Low to medium bitterness. Very clean.

pression @ OTH. dorée, col blanc Arôme malte avec un fin nez de biscuit et levure. Goût, grains et malt qui ajoute un coté biscuité. Le goût du houblon se fait léger sur le palais, levure donne un aspect herbe pour un fini qui gagne en amertume mais reste bien en balance avec le malt. Je trouve celle-ci superbement bien faite avec une approche au palais qui reste bien effervescent, je trouve le tout conserve un bon aspect belge avec des notes de levure.

Bottle. Bizarre looking beer with pink foamy head. Malty and nutty aroma. Full bodied with much nuttiness and a lekker bit of hop. A good beer despite the strange appearance.

Pours gold into a lager glass. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Spicy hay and caramel aromas. Sweet caramel upfront with a dry, lasting, slightly sour and bitter grass finish.

Pours bright ruby into a shaker. Bright pink head...anyone for some Jello 1-2-3? Earthy roasted nut aromas. Sweet and fruity upfront turning bitter and pithy in the lasting finish. Alcohol is well hidden...it appears I like this one more than others...

Pours light mahogany into a Sam glass. Off-white conglomerate head recedes at a medium pace leaving spotted spiders. Caramel, bread, toast and nut aromas. Sweet caramel and rum soaked pumpernickel from front to back. Sweet roasted nut aftertaste.

Bottle from Beer Run on 09/15/2010. Very clear golden body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet pils malt and light grassy hops. Sweet honey, pils malt and grassy hops. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation. 6/2/6/3/13 - 3.0 On tap at Commercial Tap House on 05/19/2010. Slightly hazy golden orange body with a small white head. Sweet floral and earthy hop aroma. Pilsener malt flavor with earthy and floral hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 6/3/6/3/11 - 2.9

Bottle sample at a tasting. Huge thanks Ambar for bringing me this bottle from the States! Clear amber. Aroma of toasted malt, a bit of caramel hints, graininess and hoppy hints. Sweet toasty flavor, a bit grainy, with bread notes and a bitter, hoppy finish with a bit of pine needles. Medium-bodied.
