Description
United Dutch Breweries in Breda was created when the Belgian Interbrew closed the Breda Oranjeboom brewery in 2004, which it had taken over in 1995. Oranjeboom's export department carried out a management buy-out and continued independently with Oranjeboom's brand portfolio, which was acquired from Interbrew. The beers are not brewed anymore in Breda but elsewhere.

0.33l can. Orange body with a thin white head. Aroma and taste of orange zest, nutmeg, booze and some floral hops. Not hoppy enough for a double IPA. The alcohol os also a bit too much for me. Drinkable, but nothing else.

Can en route fra friheden to kihosk walking, training for pokemon go copenhagen next week.
Aroma is a bit malty and toffeeish and nutty for a belgian blonde style. Flavor is malty, toffee and nuts, sweet toffee and alc. Lakcks some more fruity and flowery notes from hops and yeast.

clear brown, light brown/grayish head.
looks like a very light porter, more brown and more dark than at least some doubles. looks more like a quad. dried dark fruity aroma, slighlty malty - matls are fruity and rounded, not sweet and toffee like - nice fruity notes throughout without going aritificial or weird. notes of belgian yeast. very finer notes of tobacco or ashes or charred wood. quite surprisingly nice aroma for something i found in the supermarket at a low price.
Flavor is dark dried fruits, banana, faint tobacco or ashes - not at all as great as aroma but stil very decent and not as sweet as many cheap double's can be. pretty solid and drinkable yet fairly true to style supermarket discount double.
