Bottle 33 cl. Clear golden with a solid, white head. Malt and sulphur in the nose. Rich, clean malty body with a metallic hint and again a whiff of sulphur. Faint bitterness. Very clean and straight. 220923

Very good, amberish cream head, stable, over hazy reddish brown beer, muddy. Diary, sourish milk, yoghurt, dried fruit as dates, figs or prunes. Some alcohol/fusels; overripe banana. Sweet, fiery alcoholic; strawberry syrup, brown candi sugar. Again dried fruit, figs etc., but also dried strawberry, apricot, pineapple. Thick, rich, oily feel, alcoholburn. Nice presentation (but why still green bottles?). In French they would ask "le ramage, vaut-il bien le plumage?" Txs to Joren for bringing!

Small white head, fast gone over veiled golden orange beer. Sweet nose with raisins, banana, ever so slightly coloured malts - and slight oxydation. Sweet... and again a light oxydation - or lightstruck? Stupid green glass bottle... Faint walnut, giving a light bitterness. Springwater quality. Very slick, faint oily feel; but not really full-bodied. Soft carbonation. Strange, sweet if mellow Bock. Nice to have tried, but no fireworks. Txs to Joren for bringing. Bierwelt.Tirol, Innsbruck

Draft in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. Banana bread aroma on hazy amber with a big head. Nice creamy mouthfeel with a pretty one dimensional ripe bananas note, a bit of malty wheat in there too, lemony hop note. Better than expected from Zillertaler! One thumb up.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a creamy, off-white head - not exactly your expected Zwickl looks! Slightly spicy nose, paired with crystal malts. Medium body, nutty, biscuity, slight tartness with a finishing bitterness. Unusual. 310723

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy, pale yellow with a tiny, off-white head. Fresh lemon and lime aroma. Light mody, fizzy sweet lemon accents and as per usual for these mixed drinks, the beer is very hard to detect. But a lovely lemonade. 250723
