(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and slowly lacing foamy head. Strawy malty aroma with herbal and slightly citric hops. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Strawy malty taste with chalky and herbal accents; slim and moderately bitter hoppy finish. Very close to Roggs Bio Landbier. 21.IV.11

(bottle, 33cl, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, pale golden coloured and turbid hue with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and strawy pale malty aroma with a metallic touch and citric and slightly herbal hops. Mildly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Deep golden to light amber coloured, small - but still stable - head; delicate to moderate caramelly-nutty nose with a slight bitterness underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; a slight metallic tinge shows up in the faint bitter-caramelly finish. Not bad, but not really convincing....

5l-Partyfass from the brewery, same as Brasserie de l’Ill Storky Bière de Noel. Clear, deep golden, with a brown hue, large off-white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, malty, hints of pine honey, vanilla. Slightly hoppy in the finish, very smooth palate. Very nice.

bottle from Lenzkirch. Cloudy orangey golden colour, large white head. Yeasty nose with a rural character, perhaps some barnyard or horse blanket? Medium-bodied, robust grainy malty base, pleasantly hoppy with a nice yeasty character, quite rural with a touch of barnyard. Feels lively but the carbonation is pleasantly smooth. Yes, this is good!

bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear, pale golden colour, large and creamy white head. Hoppy nose. Solid malty flavours in the background, biscuity, crisp, with a good amount of bitter and aromatic hops tuning in. Lingering hoppy finish. Well balanced, well matured, well crafted Pils. I wish there would be more like this one - and I wish I had bought more.
