At Maakun’s. Maakuns share. Cloudy gold. Spicy cold pumpkin soup, hops, saison yeast, daisy hearts, very flowery, nectar, nettles. Pretty strong bitter overwhelming the little sweet backbone. Lovely! Bottle shared thanks to Santa Gurthnar. Slight hazy golden with white head. Lots of fruity hops up front with lime, lemon, passion fruit. Pumpkin, chicory, light honey, caramel, biscuits, peppery yeast, flowers, maybe some Szechuan peppers too, green leafy vegetables, twigs. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation. Nice stuff.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 30/1/2016, thanks rosenbergh, at tiong’s tasting, 20160109) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had tartness, citricness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, citricness, tartness, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A weird, complex brew but still good.

Taste: Grassy/harsh hops, light sweet, light bitter.

Overall: Meh. Too harsh hoppy. Too dark color...

Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of juicy fruits, citrus, pine, earthy notes, spices, hints of wood and grass. Taste is hoppy, earthy and slightly grainy with some spices, wood, grass, pine and citrus. Finish is yeasty, hoppy and fruity with hints of wood, spices and grainy notes. Pretty tasty hoppy saison with a lot going on.

Bottle 0.33l at tiong’s, Espoo. Thanks to Cuso! Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, spices and malts.

bottle at home... dark brown black ... massive tan head ... soft sweet toffee malt nose ... soft toffee nose .. dark bitter chocolate roast malt nose .. dark roast ... dark malts .. dry chocolate .. soft malts .. soft chocolate ... dark roast ..

Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep ruby, nose is toffee, vanilla, sugary, taste is roasted, sugary sweet, dry.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours dark red brown with a thick white head. Aromas of red fruit, almonds. Taste is ribena. Fruity finish.

Tap at 100 piv. Seems more like a sweet stout than oatmeal. Sweetish, yet somehow rather thin bodied. Milk chocolate, roasted. Finish turns out more dry. Good.
