0,3l from tap at Pivobrana Festival Bratislava shared by Cuso, big thanks. amber hazy color, small off-white head. smells of cinnamon, christmas spices, raisins, laurel. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick moutfeel. tastes of laurel, spices, cinnamon, cloves, raisins, some herbs. finishes balanced with lorbeer, spices and cloves. decent enough beer, liked the smell, taste has too many laurel, overall good and drinkable.

Bottle, Staromestianska pivoteka. Very dark colour, quickly disappearing head. The beer could make use of a little extra carbonation overall, but nothing to fuss about. Otherwise it was a pretty classic and decent stout. Rich roasty chocolatey flavours, light dark fruits, relatively dry. Moderate presence of grassy English hops. Easy drinking, very good.

Tap at RJ. Aroma fruity, grandparents’ white grapes. Hazy yellow colour. Taste is very watery, thin body, too thin tbh. Fruity grapes flavour, bitter and considerably tart, kind of zesty. Resiny. Good but no superstar.

Bottle courtesy of my Secret Santa. Aroma is rather malty with a lot of pale malt character including cracker and biscuit. Some off vegetal and bready yeast notes. Light citrus, floral and spicy hop notes. Some rotten stone fruit notes as well. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a small, somewhat thin, white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Flavor is not as bad as I expected. Light sweetness with some cracker and biscuit notes. Moderate bitterness with some light hop character. Mostly floral and spicy hops but also some citrus and light stone fruit. The off character in the aroma is only faintly present in the flavor. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and a bit watery with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer with a better flavor than aroma. The mouthfeel is off and the aroma also shows signs of something being off.

bottle at home from trade with Cuso, many thanks Imro. light orange, very hazy. medium big off-white head. strong smell of spices, light fruity, citric. light to medium body, tastes a bit flat, taste of spices, herbal, grains, bread, citric, light watery. spicy / watery / light citric finish. not so crazy about this one, a bit too untypical for a Hefeweizen, I would expect a full body and mouthfeel and more carbonation.
