Draft. A- Malty, caramel, cardboard. A- Copper color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Caramel, bready, malty, mild coffee grounds. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Okay, not my favorite style by any count but good for what it was. Will please a lot of people, otherwise, meets expectations for the style.

Draft. A- Roasty, cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- Cocoa, roasty, dry, malty. P- Medium body, light texture, average carbonation, dry finish. O- Pretty standard. Not bad and will please the masses that don't like stouts, but not quite my thing. Good for the style though.

Draft. A- Candi sugar, dates, black cherry, chocolate. A- Dark mahogany color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Dark cherries, cocoa, boozy. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly boozy finish. O- Almost tastes barrel aged. Fairly boozy, loads of dark fruits, and complex. Almost tastes like it could be a quad. Good stuff for sure.

Draft. A- Milk chocolate, mild almonds. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Chocolate, roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Lighter than I expected but wasn't thin or watery in the slightest. A good plain jane porter. This has potential to make a great base beer to add adjuncts or potentially imperialize. This beer could go somewhere.Probably the best regular beer at the brewery.

Draft. A- Subtle booze, caramel, mild bubble gum, subtle peat. A- Dark copper color, clear liquid, white head. T- Mild peat, malty, subtle booze. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly malty finish. O- The beer I was looking most forward to trying from my new and only hometown brewer. A wee heavy from a place doing only boring for the mass styles, so I had to try this. Turned out, it was pretty boring as well. Not full bodied at all and not a lot of flavor. Pretty mild, but by far the most drinkable beer I had. Okay, and has lots of potential but needs some tuning up.

Draft. A- Bland, cocoa. A- Dark brown copper color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Cocoa, bland, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Hardly a stout. This was almost the same color as their brown ale and scotch ale. Certainly the lightest stout I've had, but as I am stressed, this town probably can't handle a full bodied beer. Really tasted more like a brown ale but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and refer to this as a stout that simply needs some work.

Draft. A- Weak, mild citrus, slight caramel, biscuit. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Caramel, biscuit, medium bitterness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- More of an old school IPA, perhaps following the lines of an English Pale Ale. Not much bitterness or citrus hops. Lots of caramel and biscuit. Kind of boring, but will please the locals who probably can't handle their hops.

Draft. A- Medicine, guava, papaya, bubble gum. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Gum, spices, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, astringent finish. O- First off, I am not 100% positive this is the Tres Corazones instead of the Poor Planning. The lady bartending couldn't remember what order they were put in and wasn't sure which of their own beers were which. Not an impressive start. That said, I am pretty sure I have this correct, if not, I'll switch them when I find out. Tasted like a Belgian Wit / IPA hybrid. In fact, almost more of a APA than IPA. Some bitterness but not much. A medicinal flavor almost over takes the entire beer. Not to sure something along the brewing lines in this batch wasn't a little off. Has quite a bit of potential.

Draft. A- Malty, slightly roasty, toasted, mild cocoa. A- Dark copper color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Watery, malty, mild cocoa. P- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- It's a brown ale, so naturally, it's going to be unexciting. For the masses, this probably goes over well. Fairly malty and definitely bland. Could be worse but not impressive by any account.

Draft. A- Bland, straw. A- Pale yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Straw, wheat, grains, slightly grassy. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Pretty bland and boring. It's drinkable for sure, but there is no thinking to it. This is the kind of beer that will be a hit in Holdrege. Nothing too exciting here, about as simple as it can get.
