Bottle looks really good, beer in the glass also, quite zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest malty-yeasty, modest fruity. Not too dry. Finish mild, a bit moldy, could be a bit more intense. Okay.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass cloudy, nice head. Moldy aroma. Starts malty-moldy, a bit sourish and more and more soapy with woody notes. Finish a bit milder but still quite moldy. Not my favourite.

The bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass quite dark, nice head. Starts strong, a bit alcoholic, not too much. Quite roasty-malty with a smokey touch, also some coffee notes. Finish well balanced, less malty. All in all a bit too roasty for my taste, but still a good doppelbock!

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Starts mild, almost washy. More and more spicy-bready, much too moldy-grasy. Hard to empty that glass. Not good.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass cloudy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine yeasty, modest sweet, a bit moldy. Fruity like apricot. Not as bready as some other non alcohol weizen. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

Draft at 4:20, Rome, during the Stag Do. Pours a very cloudy gold with a modest, white head. Light yeast and citrus fruits on the nose. Faint sweet flavor, light dough, faint spice. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Semi-bland finish, a touch watery, some lingering yeast. Alright overall, but definitely a bit light.

Bottle. It pours a more or less clear body, golden in color and with a finger thick white head. Some lacings. Malty, wort-like fruity aroma with lots of peaches. Quite pleasant, but borderline too much. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end, but I would like even more. Apricots, pale malty sugars and a generic fruityness too. Medium to full body, velvety mouthfeel. Even though it’s far from perfect, it’s a beer I could drink a few of. 110818
