(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty pale malty nose with notes of citrus and hay. Moderately sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Yeasty and malty taste with subtle fruity notes; medium-dry sweet malty and yeasty-bitter, slightly hoppy finish. 08.VII.10

Bottle (donated by joss!): Pale golden, hazy, slowly collapsing white head with a little lace; grainy and woody-hoppy nose with a discreet yeasty-fruity backbone; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft, medium bodied; sweetish-fruity finish with a light, but distinctive hoppy aftertaste. Good......

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity wheat malty clove and banana aroma. Fruity wheat malty clove flavor with hints of banana. Has a fruity wheat malty banana finish.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, small stable head with big bubbles, a little murky medium brown colour, aroma of sourdough, hay and nuts, flavour of malt, hay and nuts. Quite dry and a tad on the light side but quite fair.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of licorice, some chocolate, toasty malt, nutty notes and a bit of oxidation. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of chocolate hints, nuts and a drier finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle 500ml. @ Petalax Beer Festival 2010 - the 4th. edition.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, caramel, sugar, light roasted, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100702]

Dark brown color, small off-white head. Coffee, licorice, roasted malts, caramel in the nose. Medium-bodied. Lots of licorice, roasted malts, not alcoholic. Some grassy hoppyness. Excellent classic doppelbock.

Bottle. Frothy good mostly lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Heavy malty and mopderate hoppy aroma. Dark fruits as prunes present. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice beer.
