(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a beige and thick foamy head. Sweet crusty, roast-malty and moderately molassy aroma with caramel and subtle notes of dried fruits, accompanied by a tinge of ethereally spices. Sweet flavour with roasty bitter notes, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Solid roasty malty base with notes of caramel, bread crusts, vanilla and dried berries; almost dry-ish roasty and slightly hop bitter finish with a melange of caramel, mocha and vanila in the aftertaste. Very good. 07.IV.10

Bottled (BB 05/2010) via Timo A., Jyväskylä session.
Clear golden color, small steady white head. A bit caramel malty, grassy aroma, some apple too. Green apple fruity, a bit grassy and grainy flavor. Somewhat grainy-grassy aftertaste. Ok, but not really special.

Bottle. A hazy, cloudy orange-golden beer with a two-finger off-white head. Banana, some porridge, hints of cloves and citrus and some piney hops on the nose. Dry, full-bodied and effervescent mouthfeel with some warmth, Fruity sweetness, cloves and bitterness flavor, with some bubblegum and citrus notes. Grainy, banana finish with a nice bitterness and some alcohol. A quite decent weissbier, but it feels like something is missing when drinking it. 090902

Bottle. A clear, dark amber to copper beer topped by a diminishing finger-thick beige head. Caramel, some roasted malts, dried fruit notes, prunes mostly, and touches of hops on the nose. The flavor is caramel and roasted malts, with dried fruit blending in nicely, leading to a finish with a fine bitterness. Medium body, dryish. A nice schwarzbier that I wouldn’t mind having more of. 090902

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, big and stable white head; sweet grainy-strawy nose with a distinctive bitterness in the background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; honey in the robust sweet and hoppy finish. A powerful, well rounded winter-brew.......
