Bottle 50 cl. Pours nutty brown with a slight haze and an off-white head. Lovely chewy, biscuity and nutty aroma. Rich, malty sweet body, again biscuits, nuts and molasses - perhaps a bit to the sweet side. Warming finish perhaps with a little too little hops for balance. But quite a malt lovers delight. 170221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear black with a reddish hue and a neat, creamy and lacing light brown head. Subtle roasty nose with a hint of vanilla. Medium body, soft carbonation, roast and chocolate nose again with a sweet vanilla touch. Hardly any bitterness. Pleasantly drinking and not overly sweet. 100221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with a dissipating, off-white head. The aroma is pretty much non-existing. Not unpleasant, it's just not there. Medium body - or actually it's a little watery. Slight roast and nuts, hardly any hops to be detected. A beer that simply lacks ingredients, weak on all parameters. 100221

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Sweet, candy-like aroma. Very toffeeish and caramellish. Medium body, sweet and rich again with loads of caramel. Hardly any bitterness and a carbonation to the low side. Not an awful lot going on, but quite pleasant drinking. The juniper branches (!) are lost on me. 030221
