On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a slight gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of grass and bitter citrus with some light bread underlying. Flavor has lots of grass with a citrus bite and a light grain backbone.

Autumn Brew Review 2015.Labeled as 6.6. A little smoke, dry, and ashy. Dry malt flavor, mild hops but they are there. I would have liked more smoke.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2015. Pours a hazy orange gold with a near white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a lot of earthy citrus with some grass, pine and grains supporting. Flavor has a nice bitter pine supported by grass, earthy citrus and sweet grains.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2015. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aromas has a lot of smoke with grains and bread as well as a touch of roast. Flavor has a nice combination of smoke, grains and bread with a slight roasty finish.

Sampled at a festival. More apple flavor than I expected, and a light aroma of apple also, almost like a cider. Some yeast, making me wonder what might happen if this were to age for a few months.

Tasted at Winter Beer Dabbler 2014. Standard scotch ale flavors, sweet with an earthy character, and some pronounced malt flavor as well. Served very cold, I expect it is more flavorful when it warms.
