Draught, taster. @Gaztambirra, Madrid (Spain). 02/12/2022 [#5.690 Global - #1.212 Spain - #45 Cervecera Península] Pours pale hazed golden with a lacing white head. Aroma: pale malts, floral hops and hay. Taste: biscuits, pale malts and bread. Mild cardamom. Cracking lager. Next one please!

Keg at La Buena Cerveza, Madrid, 29/10/22. Clear golden blonde with a just off white cap. Nose is grass, orange peel, herb, toasted grains, dusty hop presence. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, grassy bite, citric tinged straw, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with mellow hop bitterness. Not bad.

Keg at the Peninsula taproom, Madrid, 29/10/22. Raspberry red with a crimson cap that veers to a swirl. Nose is raspberry pips, straw, grains, red berry skins, herb. Taste comprises sweet berry fruits, hedgerow, vanilla, granola, berry compote. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering tang. Okay sour if a touch sweet.

Taste comprises grapefruit, pine nip, mango, ripe melon, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a grassy hop edge ... guessing some Sorachi. Okay stuff.

Keg at the Peninsula taproom, Madrid, 29/10/22. Murky orange with a good sized lasting cream cap. Nose is orange peel, ripe melon, soft malts, grass. Taste comprises melon, grapefruit, light stoned fruit esters, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow juicy hop bitterness. Ok easy sipping DIPA ... probably best on show in the taproom of their own beers but somewhat lacking in hop presence and boost factor for a DIPA.
