Description
Connecticut Valley Brewing Company is an independently owned and operated family business. The company was founded by two Connecticut locals who have dreamt of opening a brewery for many years and have always wanted to create a place where the community could gather and enjoy each other’s company. Our South Windsor facility, which we officially opened in early 2018, is situated in the heart of the Connecticut Valley. Our brewery is just a short, five minute drive to the banks of the beautiful Connecticut River.

Our logo features the F4U Corsair airplane which is the Connecticut State Airplane and a great testament to the spirit of the state. Because we feel community is important, our company is highlighting some of the state’s great industries and adventure spots by featuring them on our cans. These people and places have not only inspired our own lives and the life of the brewery, but they also honor the places we’ve come to live, love and grow in. We hope you enjoy your time here and we look forward to serving you again in the future.

Cheers to You and Cheers to Connecticut Craft Beers!

(Can) Hazy yellow colour with big, frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of wheat, white bread, hay, citrus, pears, banana and clove. Fruity, wheaty taste with citrus, peaches, lemon peel, white bread, clove, banana and a mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and fairly well made wheat ale. Quite nice.

Can from Systembolaget. A genuinely very nice plum sour beer. Striking deep gold. Gentle plum sourness, both sweet and sour. A good job.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours an almost clear yellow with a small, white head. Lightly fruity nose. Medium body, clean malts and a subtle fruitiness before a hoppy, bitter finish. Ok and well made for what it is. 021121

Cask at GBBF'19 Day 1, 06/08/19. Hazed golden orange with an off white head. Nose is sweet mango pulp, perfume, citric pulp, sugars. Taste comprises mango shreds, ripe melon, grass, orange peel, floral notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close doused in light resinous hop bitterness. Way too sweet and one dimensional ... no thanks.

Can 1 US pint. Pours a cloudy, opaque grayish golden with a white head - very lively pour. Yeast and banana aroma. Medium body, very massive banana notes, again yeast but also quite hoppy with a late bitterness. A decent Hefe. 181021
