Description
Connecticut Valley Brewing Company is an independently owned and operated family business. The company was founded by two Connecticut locals who have dreamt of opening a brewery for many years and have always wanted to create a place where the community could gather and enjoy each other’s company. Our South Windsor facility, which we officially opened in early 2018, is situated in the heart of the Connecticut Valley. Our brewery is just a short, five minute drive to the banks of the beautiful Connecticut River.
Our logo features the F4U Corsair airplane which is the Connecticut State Airplane and a great testament to the spirit of the state. Because we feel community is important, our company is highlighting some of the state’s great industries and adventure spots by featuring them on our cans. These people and places have not only inspired our own lives and the life of the brewery, but they also honor the places we’ve come to live, love and grow in. We hope you enjoy your time here and we look forward to serving you again in the future.
Cheers to You and Cheers to Connecticut Craft Beers!

Undated can, drunk 9/22/17.
Moderately hazy, cantelouoe-copper, with a rapidly fleeting white head.
Nose gives off a strong note of petrol....followed by light pine and juicy citrus, but never losing this odd, very off-putting gasoline-like character. Not quite sulfur and not dirty, just strange chemical.
The flavor is less given over to it, thankfully. It's still a bit slick/oily and lightly medicinal/chemical like but the attenuation is good, it's pretty malty and there are some enjoyable citrus and tropical fruits. Unfortunately, whatever went wrong does ruin the beer. Seems like a good brewery, though, and I'll definitely retry/try more.

16 oz. can. No can date. Pale cloudy grapefruit juice appearance, light head and retention. Aroma was pine, peach syrup, grass, and a strange yeast hint. Something is not quite right in the flavor. Has a plastic note. Was the fermented in a plastic vegetable container?
The mouthfeel has a soft texture with again, the plastic note in the finish. We opened two can of this and they were both were the same. Something is not right here. Not pleasant at all.

16oz can pours a hazy orange with some cloudy, white head. Nose is bright with orange and grapefruit, grass, chive, mild malt, parm rind. Flavor is big with citrus peel, parm rind, grass, herbs. Dry, zippy finish.
