Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Thin oily head, muddy brown pour. Really easy drinking porter, with gentle, but jammy raspberry notes blended well with soft milk chocolate. Slightly tart character to this. Hints towards a sour brown. Easy drinking, flavorful light porter. Quite nice.

Pint enjoyed on tap at Route 2, Monroe. Same highway as the brewery, just 100 miles down the road. Jet black appearance. Cola fizz head. Expected subtle smoke, hoping for big smoke, got somewhere in between. Really nice toasty flavor without sacrificing refreshment. Bold aroma with some wood and smoke. Flavor is mesquite, with some soft chocolate like notes that hide behind a smokey malt. Smooth flavor. Long lingering ash finish. Really fun and interesting porter here.

Draft 13 oz pour enjoyed at Route 2, Monroe. Golden orange appearance, patchy, oily fizz head. Big and bold imperial, stronger than 8% would usually indicate. Caramel malt like nose. Definitely a malt forward imperial. Caramel and orange zest. Thick body. Bold finish. Intense. Not a bad brew overall here.

Draft pour at Hop and Hound, listed at 10%. Dark brown appearance, tan cream foam head. Definitely the strongest CDA I've ever come across. Bitter front, dark chocolate, earthy tones. Bold espresso bean like linger. Not as boozy as I expected. Interesting brew.

Enjoyed on tap at Doghaus during a cold January Leavenworth visit. Backlog rate. Dark, almost caramel like looking haze. Melon fruit hops. Sweet melon taste with a cream body. Smooth up front, with a bitterness that sets in late. Juicy linger. Very unique hazy here. Interesting, and enjoyable.

Sampled on tap at Doghaus Brewery, Leavenworth. Excited to try this big beer from this small brewery. Was a lot less intense than I expected with the large ABV bill. Smooth notes of dark fruit, caramel, and spice. Smooth, medium body barleywine, with no shortage of flavor. Lingering soft booze, but I want this to be a bit warm in the January weather in Leavenworth when I sampled this. Enjoyed this one.
