330ml bottle from the brewery taproom. Poured a murky yellow colour with a very short-lived fizzy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is big pineapple, floral. The flavour is strong sweet, with a rich, smooth, herbal, sugary pineapple, vanilla palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle from the brewery taproom. Poured a clear almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light chocolate, liqourice, light dry coffee, light caramel, light liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. A fine stout.

The flavour is herbal, light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, fresh, floral, hibiscus palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. I liked all the subtle flavours. Nothing too overpowering.

330ml bottle at Ongbalo, Da Nang. Poured, a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy, light medicinal. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, light, floral, medicinal, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Recently bottled I believe but most likely suffering from early stage infection. I think this beer will get real bad real quick.

330ml bottle at Ongbalo, Da Nang. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is melon, mango. The flavour is herbal, light sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, herbal, juicy mango palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. A little light but a thirst quencher for sure.

The flavour is spicy herbal, with a fresh, crisp, herbal ginger, light sweet honey palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced which can’t be easy when you throw ginger into the mix!
