Caramel, cocoa nose. Clear brown, firm medium off white head. Tart elderberry, pecan, some burned sugar accents. Nutmeg and ash finish. Light body, easy carbonation.

Saved the best (i.e. worst) for last. Keg at the brewery, 4/28/22. Gold with a slight haze. Aroma of tart stone fruits, astringent hops, matchstick heads. Taste is pale malt, cat hair, stone fruit. The only thing that saves this beer is it is so watery the off flavors are diluted. Truly a terrible beer.

Keg at the brewery, 4/28/22. Is this creativity or is this just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks? Cherry, chocolate, whipped cream, lactose, and dry-hopped. Wow. But it turned out to be one of the better beers in the flight (not saying much). Dark brown medium tan head, good retention. Aroma of tart cherry, chocolate, earth. Taste is cherry, lactose, chocolate, resin. Astringent. Not bad. Mediocre even!

Nitro at the brewery, 4/28/22. Near black, thin tan head. Good retention. Aroma of oats, chocolate, tart fruit, soy. Taste is earth and roast. Thin, astringent.

Tap at the brewery. Reddish brown. Salted caramel artificial aroma all the way. Flavor is candle wax, artificial caramel flavor, sour fruit, some sort of spice - or that’s the chemicals burning my tongue. Pass.
